2016

Total number of stores at year-end: 453.

Total number of hypermarkets at year-end: 38.

Launch of new trade formats: cash & carry (six wholesale sections based on hypermarkets) and Euroopt Super (supermarket with premium assortment).

Partnership agreement signed with Lenta, a leading Russian hypermarket operator.

 

2015

Total number of stores at year-end: 438.

Total number of hypermarkets at year-end: 33.

Euroopt is recognized as Retailer of the Year in North-Eastern Europe by the prestigious EuropaProperty NEE Real Estate Wards, and is named Hypermarket/Big Box Chain of the Year for its E-City developments.

 

2014

Total number of stores at year-end: 298.

Total number of hypermarkets at year-end: 23.

E-dostavka.by, Belarus’s first online grocery retail and delivery service, is founded.

Company starts construction of first multi-functional shopping centres. First two malls under the E-City banner open in Minsk with Euroopt hypermarkets as anchor operators, attracting a large pool of other top-tier tenants.

 

2012

Total number of stores at year-end: 120.

Total number of hypermarkets at year-end: 14.

Eurotorg LLC (Euroopt’s parent company) attracts first international financing with approval of long-term loan from EBRD.

Success acknowledged by a number of awards including best entrepreneur in the Minsk retail market at the Choice of the Year awards.

 

2011

Total number of stores at year-end: 66.

Recognition as an attractive employer in the Best Entrepreneur of the Year in Minsk awards.

 

2010

12 store openings.

Euroopt becomes first grocery retailer with a presence in all regions of Belarus.

Gold medal at the Brand of the Year awards.

Euroopt named best retail chain at the Choice of the Year awards.

 

2009

13 store openings.

First professional recognition with the Brand of the Year award for retail business development.

 

2008

Opening of the first hypermarket under the Euroopt banner.

Eurotorg LLC (Euroopt’s parent company) starts preparing audited IFRS accounts.

First Euroopt shop opens in Minsk.
